Timothy Gallagher
Mr. Gallagher is a partner at Fusco Gallagher & Porcaro LLP. He graduated cum laude from Cleveland State University in 1987 with a B.A. in English. Mr. Gallagher received his J.D. degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Cleveland State University in 1991 where he graduated cum laude.
In addition to being admitted to practice in all Ohio state courts, Mr. Gallagher has been admitted to practice before the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth, Sixth, Eleventh, and District of Columbia Circuits and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the District of Colorado, and the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Mr. Gallagher advises clients on wide-ranging labor and employment issues, including issues relating to work stoppages, picketing and handbilling, internal union matters, representation matters, grievances and negotiations. Mr. Gallagher represents both private and public sector unions before federal and state courts and federal and state administrative agencies. Mr. Gallagher is also counsel to the Ohio AFL-CIO. He also has extensive experience under the Railway Labor Act, in matters before the National Mediation Board and in federal court. Mr. Gallagher has been a speaker at numerous seminars including those held by the Ohio Public Employees Lawyers Association and the Midwest Regional Meeting of the AFL-CIO’s Lawyers’ Coordinating Committee. He has served as President of the Ohio Public Employees Lawyers Association. He was also a Chapter Contributor to the 2005, 2007 and 2023 Cumulative Supplements to Labor Union Law and Regulation, which is published by BNA. Prior to embarking on his legal career, Mr. Gallagher was an active member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters while working for United Parcel Service. |
